1) Are the prices on Country Yarns website in Canadian dollars?
Yes, all the prices are in Canadian dollars.
2) How is the exchange rate calculated for out of the country orders?
When your credit card is used your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate for you on your purchases.
3) Can I mail a cheque or money order if I prefer not to use a credit card?
Yes, Country Yarns does take cheques or money orders. If cheques are sent the order will not be mailed out to the customer until either the cheque or money order has cleared the account(approximately 1-2 weeks after receiving cheque). Cheques and money orders should be made out to "Country Yarns". If a cheque or money order is sent then the order will be sent as soon as the cheque or money order has cleared the account.
4) Is what is listed on the website the only products that Country Yarns carries?
No, Country Yarns has a wide variety of products. If you are looking for a particular item; ie. yarn, pattern, accessory, etc. Just email Jeanne at jeanne@country-yarns.com or at sales@country-yarns.com and tell her what you are looking for. Jeanne will get back to you and let you know if the item is available through Country Yarns. Country Yarns does a lot of special ordering.
5) What are the shipping & handling rates for buying product from Country Yarns?
The shipping & handling rates are calculated by the dollar amount of your order. The prices include the packaging, postage, and a fuel surcharge which is charged by Canada Post. The rates are as follows:

Prices and shipping methods vary when sending to international
destinations. When an order is placed we will let you know the shipping costs.
6) Are there any taxes on the products that I order?
If the parcel is being mailed to outside of Canada there are no taxes charged. If the parcel is being mailed to a province other than Ontario then only GST(5%-Goods and Services Tax) is charged. If the parcel is being mailed to a place in Ontario, Canada then both GST(5%-Goods and Services Tax) & PST(8%-Provincial Sales Tax) are charged. The only time PST is not charged is on patterns and books.
