Bridal Bunnies




These Bridal Bunnies are made from Sirdar Pattern Book #296 which has been designed by Alan Dart.  In this pattern book there are 6 different bridal bunnies to knit.  The approximate height of the figures are 8"(20cm) to 12"(31cm).  These patterns use Double-Knitting(D.K.) or Sport Weight yarn.



Baby Bunnies




These Baby Bunnies are made from Sirdar Pattern Book #309 which has been designed by Alan Dart.  In this pattern book there are instructions to knit Mother & Father Bunny, Baby Bunnies, Cradle, & Nanny Stork.  The approximate height of the figures are 11.5"(29cm).  These patterns use Double-Knitting(D.K.) or Sport Weight yarn.



Black And White Cat



This Black and White Cat is made with Sirdar Leaflet #2091 and has been designed by Alan Dart.  The black and white cat used 75 grams of black D.K. yarn and 50 grams of white D.K. yarn along with oddments of silver, orange, and yellow D.K. yarn.  The black and white cat stands 11 inches(28 cm) tall.





Burgundy Sweater




This pullover sweater is made with Schachenmayr Bravo yarn colour #8178.  The pattern that was used was Sirdar Leaflet #3948 and the size 5-6 years was knitted.  The sweater took 6(50 gram) balls to be made.  The finished measurements of the sweater are 29.5 inches(75cm) chest and 17 inches(43cm) in total length from top of shoulder to waist band.





Multi-Blue Poncho




This stunning poncho was made using Ann Norling pattern #63(The Ultimate Cover-Up).  Style #1 was used with the yarn gauge/tension being approximately 12 stitches=4 inches(10cm) on a 8mm(U.S. 11) needle.  The poncho used a large variety and textures of yarn in various shades of matching blues.  In order to obtain the proper tension most yarns were either D.K. weight or worsted weight used double.  The poncho is knit to the desired length and casts on the same amount of stitches for all sizes of adults. 





To make an eyelash scarf with Schachemayr Brazilia, it takes 2 balls. Cast on 20 - 30 stitches (depending on width desired) with an 8mm - 9mm needle. Knit every row until yarn is gone.
 




Combine a strand of Eros ribbon yarn with a strand of salsa to make a more elegant scarf. Knit scarf the same as mentioned above.



Rolled Brim Chunky Hat



1-70g ball or 1-100g ball or 2-50g ball of Chunky weight yarn.
6mm circular needles & set of 4-6mm double pointed needles.

Cast on 70 stitches with 6mm circular needle, place marker and join in a circle.
Knit 39 rounds or 7-8 inches. (Switch to set of 4 needles when stitches are not enough to meet)
Decrease:
K3.K2tog to end. Knit 2 rounds.
K2.K1tog to end. Knit 2 rounds.
K1.K2tog to end. Knit 2 rounds.
K2tog to end. Cut off yarn & thread through all the stitches. Fasten off..

 





These Mitts Were Knit From Pattern 130 From Friends Of Cabin Fever.
2 Balls Of Multifizz #605 Eyelash Yarn Were Used Plus 1 Ball Of 3 Ply Pink Baby Yarn. The Mitts Were Knit Holding A Strand Of The Eyelash Yarn Together With A Strand Of The Baby Yarn.




This sweater is made with Stylecraft Leaflet #4858 and used 2 balls of Stylecraft Eskimo D.K. #5477 and 1 ball of Peter Pan D.K. #307.  This sweater is a 9 months size and the pattern ranges from a premature baby to a 2 year old size.






This snowman is made with Sirdar Leaflet #2067 and used 5 balls of Stylecraft Eskimo D.K. #5001, 1(50gram) ball of black D.K. weight yarn, and oddments of D.K. weight yarn.(orange for nose, red for robin and berries, green for holly, light brown for robin & broom & bristles, white for robin, off-white for broom bristles.)  This snowman sits and is 15 inches(38cm) to top of robin on hat.  The snowman can be made to stand as well.





This bear is made with Sirdar Leaflet #1546 and used 3 balls of Sirdar Funky Fur #534 and plastic black eyes and a nose.  The bear can sit or stand and measures 15 inches(38cm) when it stands.





This sheep is made with Sirdar Book #285-"The Nativity Collection" and used 1 ball of Snowflake Chunky #383, 1(50 gram) ball of black D.K. weight yarn, and oddments of light brown D.K. for eyes and mouth.  The sheep stands 10 inches(26cm) tall.
